The Royal British Legion is recognised as the national custodian of Remembrance.

The Remembrance Parade will take place in Mary Stevens Park on Sunday 9th November, all are welcome to attend. Parade members are to muster, by the old council offices, at 10.20 where they will be put into order of march. The parade will move off at 10.35 and form up in front of the War Memorial. Wreath layers will fall out and form a queue adjacent to the barrier uphill from the War Memorial. The act of Remembrance, at 11.00, will be followed by a short service and the march past, down round the bandstand, back up Queens Drive and back to the car park by the council offices.

Please be aware that parking in the park is very limited so people are advised to walk where possible.
