Festival of Remembrance trip Saturday 13th November 2010.
Our Annual pilgrimage to The Royal Albert Hall in London, for the Festival of Remembrance took place on Saturday 13th November 2010. Two coaches departed Standish at 7am. Making good time and with a stop at Oxford services we arrived at The Royal Albert Hall at 1pm. We had a walk to see The Royal Albert Memorial and then on into The Royal Albert Hall for the festival. The Festival was a memorable one again, many parts bringing us to tears, yes even some of the males members. After the festival we had time to speak to our Standard Bearer who was there to parade our Branch Standard at the festival and also had time to have a photo call, then it was onto the coach for the return journey to Standish. Again it was a trip that will be remembered for a long time to come.
