It was another champagne year for entries to our second Schools Competition for the Joyce Burton Trophy. This year we asked the children to make a collage picture of their own faces and the results of cutting up lots of bits of paper, magazines, pipe cleaners etc were amazing. Such imagination, as you will see from the winner, here, by Riley Kendle of Malcolm Sargent School (see below).

And this year Malcolm Sargent School got their own back on St Gilbert’s School, just pipping them to the best overall standard to receive the Joyce Burton Trophy itself.

Zara Jenny, Lucy Cole and Amber Farquhar were this year's runners up

The individual winner and runners up were Amber Farquhar, Lucy Cole, Zara Jenny Hale and Adam White of Malcolm Sargent School, and Sophie Jean Cooke Cooke, Tilly King and Max James Roe of St Gilbert’s C of E School. Well done to all of them, each of whom received a book token and a framed certificate.
