FLAG RAISING FOR ARMED FORCES WEEK

On a glorious sunny day on Monday 25 June 2018, a short service and "Flag Raising" was performed in Cleckheaton's Memorial park, to mark the start of National Armed Forces week.

Under the direction of Branch Chairman Mr Eddie Morton, the service was conducted by the Branch Chaplain Mr Terry Brewis. The Flag breaking was performed by our Principal Guest, Mr Ian White from the Spen Valley Scout Fellowship.

The Branch is grateful once again to the Spenborough Women's Section for the provision of refreshments and to Cleckheaton Syke Fold Grange for kindly letting us use their lounge facilities.
