On the 16th of August 2025 at 11:00 veterans will muster at the Cenotaph to remember the 20,000 who were repatriated after the fall of Japan in 1945, marking the end to all hostilities from World War 2.
They will then march to Palmerston Park where a Bring Your Own picnic (no BBQ's please) will be held.
