We are very pleased to announce the Somme branch has collected the grand sum of €11991.06
With the help of our generous public and the gracious support of our local communities who help us supply wreaths, crosses and have Poppy boxes and tins, Albert tourist office, Thiepval Musee and Historial Peronne, Musee Somme 1916, Ibis Albert, Sir John Monash centre, Amiens, Saint Quentin tourist office and, Le Jardin de Mairie, Corbie, No 56 , La Boiselle, 14-18 Somme Chambres, Beaucourt sur l'Ancre

So far Isabelle has collected €10,297,08.
2023
Once again our super dedicated Poppy appeal collector Isabelle Blake has been diligently visiting our local hotels and museums on the Somme collecting donations from our generous benefactors.
Together with the many wreaths sold our Branch has collected the grand sum of

With the Somme slowly welcoming back visitors after the long Covid pandemic Isabelle has managed to collect the grand total of 5841.35€ from the generous public.
875€of which came from our very successful Sing along supper at the 'Corners Pub' Albert on the 10th November.

Even During Covid and with our restrictions Poppy appeal on the Somme has raised 1926.00€.

In 2018 the Somme Branch has shown its year long fundraising and collection skills from the generous public by collecting the substantial sum of 21758.33€
So well done to our very own Poppy appeal organiser and a big THANK YOU to everybody who have been so generous.
We were very pleased to have Rod Bedford - Board of trustees, award our very dedicated poppy appeal organiser Isabelle Blake at our Annual Somme Dinner with The Noel Rodgers Trophy award, for raising the second highest amount overseas. First Place went to the Ieper Branch, so for those of you, who have visited Ieper will know what an astonishing achievement this really was.
