Annual General Meeting
The Branch usually holds its AGM on the Third Thursday in October. Since COVID it has taken place in St Edmund's Church, Church Street, Shipston on Stour and starts at 8pm promptly. Do watch this website, our Notice Board in The Bury and local press to check the exact date as we have had to move it occasionally.
The meeting is open to all members and to non-members who are interested in joining or finding out more about the Branch (Non-members are unable to vote).
The meeting covers the usual matters you'd expect at an AGM with annual reports from the current Officers, the election of Officers for the coming year and the presentation of long service awards to our fabulous Poppy Collectors.
After the meeting there is a more relaxed chat session where refreshments are available and there's an opportunity to sign up for an hours' slot on the rota for Poppy Collecting in the High Street in the week running up to Remembrance Sunday.
