The Poppy Appeal at Sandy and District
Thank you for supporting this year's Poppy Appeal. Every poppy shows you care about the lives of our Armed Forces community.
2024 Poppy Appeal Total donations: £20,081.09
Thank you to everyone who donated to this years Poppy Appeal we have managed to raise a staggering £20,081.09! These funds will go towards the ongoing work of the Royal British Legion, helping to support those veterans and there families.
VOLUNTEERS NEEDED
We are currently recruiting for volunteers to help with Sandy and District, Royal British Legion Poppy Appeal!
Stalls are being held in Sandy Tesco & Frost Garden Centre in Willington.
This would involve manning a table and accepting donations for the items on offer by the RBL. Anyone who can spare time, even if it’s just one hour would help us fill our rotas.
You can literally do as little or as much as you want.

Poppy items:
Wreaths that were ordered last year have been ordered again this year and organisations that received a wreath last year will be contacted about delivery/collection a bit nearer the date, however if you would like a wreath that wasn't ordered last year, please contact our PAO as detailed below.
Please ensure that if you have previously had a wreath ordered by us that you contact Paul Hickton, this is just to confirm that this has been ordered for you.
** There will be contactless devices to use at Tesco's, Frosts and Sandy Railway station **
