POPPY APPEAL 2023

This year will involve the same process as lest year and cover the same villages and the Parkway Railway Station.  

This year we are please to announce that thanks to the support of the Parishioners with in the Branch area and their generosity we have raised over £1000.00 more then 2022, despite the financial situation. 

POPPY APPEAL 2022

This year the Poppy Appeal will not involve house to house collections.  As listed below there will be static collection in villages covered by the Branch - Sampford Peverell, Uplowman, Willand, Uffculme, Halberton, Waterloo Cross.  

POPPY APPEAL 2021

Sally Rowe volunteered to be our Poppy Appeal Organiser and has lead use through Covid-19 restricted times this year 2021.

House to House collections were not conducted and the Appeal concentrated on 20 static collection points in and around our Branch area's villages shops and businesses.  This included Tiverton Parkway Railway Station.

This year, despite the Covid-19 restrictions has seen an increase of  nearly double last years contributions raising it to £3536.  (These figures do not include last years one off donation from Ash and Lacy of over £3000.00)

The Branch would like to thank Sally for her efforts and all our contributors, volunteers and members.

We will be looking to increase coverage next year and will be looking for volunteers and helpers to assist.  We will be hold a public meeting in the New Year to obtain fed back and ideas.
