Women's Section - Ladies Committee.

In the early minutes there are numerous references to a Women's Committee who assisted with running raffles, dances and other money raising schemes.   

On Friday 17th January 1930 at the same meeting that the building of the Hall was proposed, a further proposal was that the Branch form a Woman's Section. The motion was passed and the Secretary was tasked with obtaining the necessary particulars. There are no records within the minutes of the Woman's Section being formed.  In the minutes for Monday 3rd March 1947 there is reference to the formation of a Woman's Section and the suggestion was made that the opinion of Service women and wives of Members be sought.
