Romsey Mountbatten

The Royal British Legion is recognised as the national custodian of Remembrance.

Remembrance Sunday, the second Sunday in November, is the day traditionally put aside to remember all those who have given their lives for the peace and freedom we enjoy today.

In Romsey, Romsey Town Council is responsible for organising the Sunday Remembrance Parade and the smaller service held at the Memorial Park on Armistice Day (11/11). Romsey Mountbatten branch and Romsey Abbey support these events alongside veterans, serving personnel and the local community.
