At 9-45am on Sunday the 11th of November 2012 The Rishton Branch of The Royal British Legion paraded at the parish church of ST Peter's and ST Paul's for a churches together rememberance service.
We formed up outside to march to the war memorial ready for the wreath laying and a short dedication service the memorial service was very well attended . After all the wreaths had been layed we marched back into the library car park to be dismissed.
We invited everyone to the Conservative Club where we had laid on entertainment and food which went on until about 8 o'clock in the evening. A good time was had by all who attended.
