About Us

The Ringwood & District Branch is an active part of the national and county Royal British Legion ; the full branch meets on the fourth Monday of the month at 7:30pm at Ringwood Conservative Club; the Women’s Section meets at Greyfriars Community Centre at 7pm on the third Monday of the month.

Our regular speakers cover a wide range of topics and are always very interesting. We have a full diary of social events and trips for you to enjoy, so why not come along one evening  and meet us,  you do not need to be ex-service to belong to the Royal British Legion and we are a non-political and non-religious organization.

Alongside the Poppy Appeal we have various fund raising events during the year either for the County Welfare Fund or a specific item that is needed by injured service personnel. Over the past two years we have raised enough money to purchase two adaptive rowing sculls and some sports wheelchairs, there is always a need somewhere in the County.

Our efforts to support the care of serving and ex-servicemen continues, come and help us with this worthwhile work. We’d love to see you, for more information click
