The Retford & District Roll of Honour was undertaken in 2014 with the aim of bring together the lives of those from the county whom during a time of conflict served in our Armed Forces. It covers The Great War, World War II and Korea.
Thanks to Tony & Judith Goodall for all of their hard work and research. World War I took over 4 years to complete. The research for WW II started in 2018 and was tied in with the Retford remembrance project, an ongoing project to identify military veterans who are buried or commemorated in All Hallows Churchyard, in Ordsall.
The Roll of Honour for World War I, World War II and The Korean War are recorded in date order starting with August 1914.
