RBL Groups and branches play a vital role in providing opportunity for connection and camaraderie.

The RBL Gamers Group will be run on the external platform of Discord, a social media/communication platform that is designed specifically for gaming groups such as this.

The Discord Platform has been designed for and mainly used by online gaming groups, either large communities or smaller personal groups of friends. Users of Discord can join multiple “Servers” of different groups and move between them when online with ease.

The RBL Gamers Group will be the server that our members can join.

The platform can be used either by downloading the App on their PC, phone, tablet etc. or using the in-browser version which is identical to the PC app. Within the Server there are two main methods of communications, these are called “channels”. The first channel for communication is the text channels, much like with Microsoft Teams it is a simple text chat where members can communicate with each other, this can be for general discussions on RBL matters or just “hang outs”. The second type of communication channel are voice channels. These work very similarly to the above text channels, in that we can create as many as needed, and if needed we can set them up so only certain server roles can join.
