The Poppy Appeal, the biggest fundraising event held by the RBL, happens every year in the two weeks running up to Remembrance Sunday.
Remembrance Sunday is ALWAYS the second Sunday in November, regardless of what day of the week Armistice Day (11/11) happens to fall on.

Plymouth District Poppy Appeal Organisers are Needed for 2024.
Sadly there remain a number of Districts in Plymouth which do not have a current Poppy Appeal Organiser. Without a volunteer PAO, there will be no collection in that District or ability to supply shops and other premises with a Collection Box. If you think you would like to take on such a role then please register your interest Poppy Appeal Volunteer and you will be contacted by the Devon Community Fundraiser. Branch Poppy Appeal 2024
We will be looking for Volunteers or Organisations to assist in the Table Collections in Drake Circus and potentially Sainsbury's City Centre as well as the regular stall in Morrisons Plymstock. Volunteers for Street Collection are also welcome especially in support of the Poppy Saturday event in the City Centre with the Military Vehicle Trust. Cadet Units and members of the Military Kids Clubs (with appropriate permissions and parental guidance) are very welcome to join the Branch Appeal please do get in touch if you would like to help.
