Long Serving Member , Dick Monk of Penryn Royal British Legion , receives a surprise visit from Penryn RBL Chairman Mr Tony Hendra , Member Victor Williams , Branch Secretary Mary May , and Membership Secretary Tracey Doyle . A presentation was made to Dick Monk , “Honorary Life Membership” of Penryn Branch . Victor Williams presented Dick Monk with the Certificate in recognition for his services to the Branch , Community , and to the Royal British Legion nationally , for many many years . Dick Monk alongside Victor Williams ran the Poppy Appeal for many years . Again an example of “Service Not Self “
