The Branch was first established in 1921. It was one of the first RBL branches in the country. It closed just after its 100 year anniversary in 2022. The premises were sold and most remaining members joined neighbouring branches.
The branch was recently reopened in April 2025 and is set to be a very popular branch with many fundraisers and activities planned.
