The picturesque Arminiuspark in Bad Lippspringe hosted its first-ever British Weekend, a vibrant event organized by Rehanna Ruehmann and her dedicated team. Among the highlights was the Royal British Legion Paderborn Branch’s information stand, which played a significant role in the weekend’s success.

   


The Royal British Legion team, comprising Robert Millar, Lawrie Kerr, Keith Smith, Tom Dalziel, Ryan Coltman, Mark Allan, Mila Allan, and Sandra James, worked tirelessly to engage with visitors and raise awareness about the Poppy Appeal. Their efforts were rewarded with an impressive €800, which will support members of the Armed Forces Community in times of need.

In addition to the fundraising success, the Branch also have leads for three new members into their ranks, further strengthening their community presence and support network.

 

The British Weekend in Arminiuspark was a resounding success, bringing together the local community and celebrating British culture. The Royal British Legion Paderborn Branch’s participation not only highlighted their ongoing commitment to supporting veterans and their families but also showcased the power of community spirit and collaboration.
