- The permitted hours for the supply of intoxicants on the Club premises certificate are 10.00 to 01.00 Monday to Sunday and 03.00 on New Year’s Day and from 9.00 on Remembrance Sunday. The committee have however decided that our normal opening hours will be from 12.00 to 21.00 on a daily basis with the exception of Sundays when the hours will be from 12.00 to 19.00. When there is a club or private function the bar will remain open until mid-night. Times may vary according to use and functions within the Club, this will be at the discretion of the Officers, Club Committee and bar manager.
- Bars will close promptly at the times shown or as otherwise agreed. Twenty minutes only are allowed for drinking up time.
- The Club premises shall remain open for thirty minutes after the bar has closed, by which time all games must be terminated and covers replaced on the snooker and pool tables. Gaming machines will be switched off twenty minutes after the bar has closed.
- Visitors, other than affiliated Club members, shall not be admitted to the Club unless accompanied by a member. If waiting for a member, they will be permitted to sit in the bar until the member arrives.
- All guests or affiliated Club members must be signed in the visitor’s book, before they will be served.
- Children will be allowed to use both bars within the Club premises but must be under the supervision of a parent or guardian, who will be responsible for the actions of the children and ensure they comply with Club rules and bye laws. This arrangement is also subject to the following conditions:
- Children are NOT allowed to play on gaming machines.
- Children under the age of fourteen will not be allowed to use the snooker tables and over that age should be under parent or guardian supervision
- Children must not approach the bar under any circumstances.
- No member or visitor will be allowed access to the Club if they are under the influence of intoxicating liquor.
- The Bar Manager or members of staff will have the right to refuse intoxicating liquid to anyone they consider under its influence.
- Members and visitors using the snooker and pool tables must not consume food of any kind during a game. Cues must be returned to the racks after games and tables covered at the end of the evening.
- Invalid cars only are allowed to be parked in the appropriate marked spaces, but must be kept clear of fire doors.
- Members are requested not to interfere in any way with the heating or lighting controls.
- We operate a zero tolerance policy regarding the use and or supply of drugs, if it is found that these are in use or are being supplied then the member/visitor will be asked to leave the club premises immediately and the member’s membership will be terminated with immediate effect.
- Dogs are welcome in the Club but must be kept under control.
- The Club will not accept responsibility for the safety of personal property left on the premises.
