It was ‘all change’ following the Annual General Meeting of the Orihuela Costa Branch of the Royal British Legion which took place last Thursday evening, 17 November, in Mil Palmeras.

Having served for three years Kevin Reardon handed over the Presidency of the Branch to Keith Brown following his selection at a recent meeting of the Branch Committee.

There was also a change in the appointment of Branch Treasurer with Vincent McGough resigning due to work commitments. He was replaced by Sheila Asbury.

All other committee members were re-elected unopposed. Keith Carter, Chairman and Poppy Appeal, Eddie Coleman, Vice Chair, Helen Lloyd, Secretary, Phillip Spear, Memberships, Colin Middleton, Welfare and Merchandise, Cathy Carson, Social, Keith Brown, Chaplain, Norman Scotting, Webmaster, Janey Spear, Jean Heald and Jim Watt all Members with Jim Haythorpe and Graham Wharrad as Standard Bearers. One other new addition was Pam Armitage.
