ANZAC DAY SUNDAY 24TH APRIL, TOWCESTER ROAD.

Northampton Beer Festival, Beckets Park,

Friday 2nd and Saturday 3rd June 11.am to 11pm

Hi all we need you help volunteers needed to help man the trailer on Friday and Saturday at the beer festival on Becketts park its 11am to 11pm on the 2nd and 3rd of June if you can help it be much appreciated please leave your name as we need to let them know on the gate for entry .

Saturday 24th June 2023
Parade
0945 Top of Abington Street
1000 Parade step off
1010 (approx.) parade halt at Wood Hill to line up for the Signing of the Covenant – ensure there is a 1.5 metre gap in the centre of the line up so that dignitaries can make their exit
1015 (approx.) Parade salute at Guildhall Steps
1025 Parade fall out at Fish Street/Abington Street – Parade members are welcome to head down All Saints Church Portico where entertainment stage and stall holders will be located
Dignitaries
0930 Arrive at the Guildhall for refreshments
0958 Step off from the Guildhall to line up at Woodhill dais
1010 Signing of the Covenant and then escorted procession to the Guildhall Steps
1015 Receive salute at Guildhall steps
1100 GH is closed to for wedding at midday
Guests are invited to All Saints Church Portico where entertainment stage and stall holders will be located but must bring their belongings with them

 

Sunday30 June 2024 11:00 Post-1945 Memorial Service

Hosted by the Northampton branch this annual service is held at the Towcester Road cemetery in the small Commonwealth War Graves cemetery at the end of the access road. This service, principally for families, friends and those who served with those from the county lost in service since 1945, starts at 11:00 sees all 140 names read out.  The general public are very welcome to attend.  Please note parking is limited and there are no toilet facilities. 

Northampton Town Festival the Racecourse

Saturday 1st and Sunday 2nd July 2023 12pm.

Merchant Navy Day 2024 Date to be confirmed
On Saturday September Northampton Town Council alongside Northamptonshire Sea Cadets invites you to celebrate Merchant Navy Day.
Guests are welcomed to the Judges Lodgings at 10:30am for refreshments and then to muster at 10:45 for a small procession to the County Hall Mast where the Merchant Navy Red Ensign flag will be raised at 11:00.
We would be delighted if you could attend to help us celebrate the work of our Merchant Navy and to honor maritime professionals, to recognise the vital contribution that they made during global conflicts, and to acknowledge our dependence on modern-day Merchant Navy seafarers who are responsible for delivering more than 90% of the UK's
