The Nord and the Pas-de-Calais, in northern France, have been the scenes of some of the 20^th centuries worst conflicts. Today we live in peace, but surrounded by ‘silent cities’, the cemeteries that are constant reminders of that past. We feel it our duty to honour the memory of those who fought to free this land, and in so doing honour the men and women who fight for our freedom today. 

We attend commemorations and reburials and support families throughout the year in remembrance of those who never went home. Ceremonies come in all shapes and sizes, from the grand city remembrance services to the placing of a flower in woodland where a soldier was last seen. After all, it does not matter how you remember, it matters that you remember. Their sacrifice will never be forgotten.

Here the Poppy Appeal runs throughout the year, through a series of collections at commemoration events, and through the support of local businesses.
