At Annual Conference 2025, the NMA Branch were presented as the winners of the Churchill Shield as part of the National Membership Awards Ceremony.

The Churchill Shield is "awarded to a National Branch that can demonstrate compliance and which, during the past year, has not only supported its Membership and Beneficiaries but also positively promoted the RBL within its District or the wider community" 

This prestigious award was collected by our Chairman, Tony Matthews MBE.

The NMA Branch are strongly rooted in its support of Remembrance activity at the Arboretum but this award, which we have won on a number of occasions in recent years, clearly demonstrates the reach of our activity through our District and internationally.

Tony would like to thank all of our dedicated Members, wherever you are in the world, and would urge you to continue promoting the NMA Branch and wider RBL in your communities; sharing your endeavour through the Branch Secretary so that we can evidence your efforts for future recognition.
