Rob was elected as Chair of the NMA Branch at the AGM 2025.

Rob joined the Royal British Legion in 1977and has previously served as the Chair of the Alrewas Branch.  Rob has held many Branch Officer positions with the NMA Branch and has acted as the Vice Chair for an extended period.

Rob is a longstanding and experienced Volunteer with the NMA Visitor Experience and Caretaking teams and also volunteers for the RBL at the Engagement & Support Desk within the Remembrance Centre.

Shelly was elected as Secretary of the NMA Branch  at the AGM 2025.

Shelly is an experienced Cyber Security professional who is also Co-Founder and Director of a family run construction and fire protection company.

Shelly is deeply committed to volunteer work, giving her time to the NMA Visitor Experience Team, the RBL Engagement and Support Desk within the Remembrance Centre and the Commonwealth War Graves Commission "Eyes on Hands on" project.

Lynne is from a serving family and has been an RBL member for over 30 years.

She has held positions throughout the RBL: Standard Bearer, Parade Marshall, Standard Bearer Judge, Ceremonial Officer, Treasurer and other committee positions!

Mr Karl Taylor

Karl was a Royal Navy - Marine Engineer for over 30 years, serving in the Falklands, Sierra Leone and the Gulf, among others.

He is a lifelong Valiant, a Port Vale F.C. supporter, and was at Wembley in 2022 to cheer on their bid for promotion. 

Karl also volunteers with the team at the RBL Engagement & Support Desk in the Remembrance Centre.

Branch Community Coordinator

Mr Kevin Foster

Kevin is a Councillor of North Yorkshire and is the Armed forces champion for the council. He comes from a military family and Served 30 years as a reservist and over 30years as a Civil Servant.

The division he represents is part of Catterick Garrison that is one of the largest Garrison in Western Europe.

He has a great love for Boxer dogs and has a Boxer called Marvin who he cites as his best mate.

Originally a member of Warwickshire Women's Section, Beth has been carrying a Royal British Legion standard since 2000.

She was asked to be the Standard Bearer for the NMA Branch when it opened on a temporary, six month basis - back in  2011!

Beth is now the RBL National Standard Bearer 2024/25
