'ACT OF REMEMBRANCE
The Royal British Legion is recognised as the national custodian of Remembrance.
Remembrance Sunday is the day traditionally put aside to remember all those who have given their lives for the peace and freedom we enjoy today. This now includes all conflicts since WW2
Remembrance is annually on a Sunday in November in Münster at Waldfriedhof Lauheide in Münster
The meeting place will be the main car park by the Gasthaus Lauheide. We will meet at 10:00am.
We will move from the car park at 10.20am to the British war grave.
The service will be conducted by: Padre Charles Mather
We will also have a short service of Remembrance at the German, Polish and Soviet Union war graves including a wreath-laying ceremony. Like the years before.
All donations to the Poppy Appeal will be appreciated.
After so many people turned up last year. We would like to see you all again this year to show your respect to the fallen. Don't forget to tell your family and friends
