On Tuesday the 11th June 2013 the Morley Branch held an Anniversary Celebration to mark the Queen's 60 years since the Coronation. Also we held a presentaion of a Gold Badge to Mr Robert Smith who is one of the branch's Vice Presidents and also the Branch Welfare Officer. The Gold Badge was presented by Mr Robert Scaife JP, Commander of the Order of the British Empire, Order of Merit League of Mercy. He has been the Past President of the Morley Branch, Past President South & West Yorkshire, Honoury Life Member for South & West Yorkshire and Past National Chairman of the Royal British Legion. The Gold Badge presented to Mr Smith was in regognition of his 25 year's dedicated work for the Morley Branch and also his welfare work for the local community.
