On the 1st September 2013 members of the Morley branach including the branch standard bearer attended the Annual 'Alled Air Forces Memorial Day' at the Yorkshire Air Museum at Elvington near York. There was a service in the main hangar followed by a parde to the main square in front of the control tower where a sunset ceremony was held. The salute during the parade was taken by The Chief of the Air Sstaff, Air Chief Marshall Sir Andrew Pulford and the Vice Lord Lieutnant of North Yorkhsire Col. E.C. York. On conclusion of the sunset ceremony there was s fly past of a Spitfire from the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight which was brilliant.
