 Events for 2016 for your diaries:

100th Anniversary Service personal who died while serving and are buried in the Morley War Cemeteries. 

Each Service will commence at1050hrs and include a brief picture of the person, Regimental Collett, prayers, exhortation and revalie. Wreath Laying by various Civic members, relatives and Morley Branch. 

Saturday 21st May 2016 :~ Branch Annual Dinner 7pm for 7.30pm,           The Masonic Hall, Thornfield House, Bruntcliffe Road. Morley LS27 0QG.

Monday 25th May 2016 :~ 100th anniversary of death of Able Seaman Edger Foster Royal Navy. Morley  Bruntcliffe Lane Morley.

Tuesday 31st May 2016 :~ 100th anniversary of death of Able Seaman Albert Rodgers HMS Indefatigable at the Battle of Jutland, Morley War Memorial.

Saturday 25th June 2016 :~ Armed Forces Day Victoria Gardens Leeds, vets parade forms up in Millennium Square (timings to follow).

Friday 1st July 2016 :~ 100th anniversary Commemoration of start of the Battle of the Somme, various events around Morley timings to follow.

Sunday 3rd July 2016 Leeds District Group annual pilgrimage to Colsterdale (the training camp of the Leeds Pals)
