Following the suspension of Branch Events due to the Covid Pandemic restrictions, the Morecambe & Heysham ANZAC Day Commemorative Service was once again held in Torrisholme Cemetery, Westgate, Morecambe on Saturday 23rd April 2022 at 12-00am and the Lancaster City Council Mayor and Mayoress were in attendance.

The Service was led by the Branch Chaplain, Rev. Chris Krawiec and the ceremony directed by Parade Marshal Mr Malcolm Brown.

Wreaths were laid on behalf of the Australian and New Zealand High Commissions by Flt. Lt. Easton of the Royal Australian Air Force and Lt. Cdr. Nick Baxter respectively. Wreaths were also laid on behalf of the Officers and Members of the Morecambe & Heysham Branch of the RBL by the Branch President Mrs Maree Brown and on behalf of the Rhodesian Services Association of Western Australia by Dr. Graham Blick.
