The Morecambe & Heysham ANZAC Day Commemorative Service was be held in Torrisholme Cemetery, Westgate, Morecambe on Saturday 26th April 2014 at 12-00am.

The Service was led by the Branch Chaplain Fr. Tom Davis assisted by the Missions to Seaman North West Ports Chaplain Geoffery Moore.

The Mayor of Lancaster, Councillor June Ashworth attended the Service and wreaths were laid at the grave of RNZAF Flt. Sgt. Jack Wilson by Warrant Officer Chris Naylor RNZAF on behalf of the New Zealand High Commission, Squadron Leader Benjamin George AAF on behalf of the Australian High Commission and RBL Branch Member Mrs Beryl Briggs-Allen on behalf of the Morecambe & Heysham Branch of the Royal British Legion.
