The Morecambe & Heysham ANZAC Day Commemorative Service was once again held in Torrisholme Cemetery, Westgate, Morecambe on Saturday 27th April 2024 at 12-00am and the Lancaster City Council Mayor and Beagle were in attendance.

The Service was led by the Branch Chaplain, Rev. Chris Krawiec and the ceremony directed by Parade Marshal Mr Malcolm Brown. The Last Post and Reveille were sounded by Mr Stuart Bateson of Morecambe Brass Band.

Wreaths were again laid on behalf of the Australian and New Zealand High Commissions by Flt. Lt. Radford of the Royal Australian Air Force and Lt. Cdr. Nick Baxter respectively. Wreaths were also laid on behalf of the Officers and Members of the Morecambe & Heysham Branch of the RBL by the Branch President Mrs Maree Brown and on behalf of his family by Dr. Graham Blick.
