Piers Storie-Pugh, a seasoned historian and prominent figure in remembrance circles, has recently given two talks at the Royal British Legion (RBL) Mitcham, a presentation focused on “The Great War on the Western Front and Remembrance Today, and The Liberation of Nijmegen and Arnhem. His talks delved into the harrowing experiences of soldiers during the conflicts, exploring the enduring impact of the battles on both individual and collective memory.
