  • The Last Post

  • A two-minute silence at 11:00 am

  • Laying of wreaths and poppies

  • Prayers, readings, or reflections

This part of the event is quiet and reflective, giving people time to think about the cost of freedom and the impact of war.

Why It Matters

Remembrance Day is not a celebration—it is a time to remember, reflect, and honour. The parade and service help ensure that the sacrifices made by service members are never forgotten and that future generations understand the importance of peace.
