Longridge had an active RBL Branch and was first established on the 1st January 1929 and dissolved by 2016.
The branch’s standards were ceremonially laid up at Longridge High School, reflecting a community's desire to preserve its legacy.
Building on the town’s historical ties to the Royal British Legion, Longridge Branch was revived on the 11 August 2025, and the dedication of a new standard taking place on the 25 October 2025 in readiness for Remembrance Sunday.
Embracing a broader membership and focusing on both Remembrance and social engagement we are working to ensure Longridge once again hosts a vibrant hub for the Armed Forces community and their families.
