Grand Pilgrimage 90

From 5th August until the 9th August, Our Branch secretary, Martin Richards and our Standard Bearer, Matt Baker took part in this incredilbe event traveling to Ypres and parading on the 8th through the Menin gate.

It was the largest parade ever seen there and the wreath laid by Martin included a tribute from the children in our primary school.

On return Martin & Matt were presented with commemorative certificates and the Branch Standard is to be emblazoned with a scroll 'Ypres 2018' the first such honour in the history of the Branch which dates back to the 1920's.
