On Wednesday 10 December 2025 the Loja Branch held its Christmas meal at Bar el Parque in Ventorros de San Jose. The meal was attended by 10 members and their guests. Numbers were a little lower than usual this year as many of our members were away or travelling.

Our thanks go to Tony and Alison Humphrey for organising the meal and the raffle, many of the prizes were donated by our members and guests. Thanks to those who donated prizes. The raffle raised 143 euros which will be our first donation to the Poppy Appeal 2026.

Many thanks also to Teresa at the bar for going to so much trouble to organise a good old English Christmas dinner of turkey and all the trimmings.
