On Wednesday the 18 December 2024, the Loja Branch held its annual Christmas meal at Hotel Paraiso near Moraleda.

The meal was attended by 48 members and their guests and I would like to say a huge thanks to everyone for their generosity on the day with the purchase of raffle tickets. We were able to make a donation of 355 euros to the Poppy Appeal for 2025. An excellent start to the year.

Big thanks to Mike Lynch (our resident DJ) and Liz Chandler for collecting and putting together the two food hampers and of course everyone who donated items for the hampers, the first hamper was won by Claire and Gemma Jenkinson and the second hamper was won by Carol and Derek Humphrey.

We would like to wish everyone a very Merry Christmas and a Happy and Prosperous New Year.
