Poppy Appeal 2024

This year we are collecting for the Poppy Appeal at the Wisbech and Main Street Co Ops in Littleport. There are also boxes in local shops and business premises. The Appeal has already got off to a great start, thanks to the continuing support of the Littleport community.

The parade this year will be on Sunday 10 November 2024. For all those who wish to join the parade, we will march off from the Littleport Ex Serviceman's Club at 10:20am. The Church Service will be at St Georges Church. We would advise you are seated by 10:45am at the latest. The wreath laying will take place at the Littleport War Memorial after the church service, all welcome.

For all those who will be laying wreaths on the Sunday, and Standard bearers, there will be a rehearsal at St Georges Church on Thursday 7 November at 7pm.

We will also be paying our respects on Monday 11 November at 11:00am at the Littleport War Memorial, when the children from both primary schools will be laying their wreaths, and at the Nightall Memorial outside the library. Please do join us if you able. Tea and coffee will be served in The Barn afterwards.
