The Royal British Legion is recognised as the national custodian of Remembrance.

Remembrance Sunday, the second Sunday in November, is the day traditionally put aside to remember all those who have given their lives for the peace and freedom we enjoy today.

On Remembrance Sunday, Lisburn Branch conduct an early morning service at the Hilden War Memorial, and also the main services and parades in both Lisburn and Hillsborough. 

We also run an annual Festival of Remembrance at the Lisburn Island Centre, which is always a superb event.
