The Poppy Appeal in Leytonstone

Leytonstone Branch RBL 2022 Poppy Appeal

  LEYTONSTONE Branch of the Royal British Legion would like to thank the people of Leytonstone and Waltham Forest for their wonderful support with this year’s POPPY APPEAL.

Despite still having many restrictions and being unable to collect at quite a few of our usual collection points including Whipps Cross Hospital, it was a wonderful amount to raise which we could not of done without your generosity.

We would like to thank everyone who had our collection boxes, and especially huge thanks to all the staff at Tesco Leytonstone Store and Leytonstone Tube Station for their warm welcome for allowing us to sell poppies as well as Royal British Legion merchandise.

We have raised an estimated total of

We would also like to give a big thank you to all the volunteers. Our Poppy Appeal organiser Shelia Leforte, Paul Leforte and support from both Doreen Calder and Alan Calder who have done a fantastic job organising it all.

 Once again many thanks to all of you for your support and we would like to wish everyone a safe and healthy future.
