Fundraising for 2024
Lee-on-the-Solent Branch has shown its fundraising skills and the people of Lee on the Solent and Stubbington area have once again shown their generosity for the 2024 Poppy Appeal. The running total for 2024 so far is £26,682.94
Poppy People
The Poppy Appeal starts at the end of October and runs through Remembrance Sunday. The Lee on Solent Branch are looking for volunteers that can help. There are lots of volunteering roles you can get involved with such as:
- Helping to distribute/collect poppies and collection tins to local businesses and shops
- Help with the manned collections in supermarkets
- At the end of the Appeal, could you spare some time to count donations?
You don’t need to be a member of the Royal British Legion to join in with the Poppy Appeal, and you don’t need to have links to the Armed Forces community. You’ll be helping the UK’s leading Armed Forces charity, the heart of a national network that supports our Armed Forces community through thick and thin, ensuring their contribution is never forgotten.
