Armistice Day has been observed every year since 1919 with a two-minute silence.

Held each year at 11am on 11 November, the silence marks the time in 1918 at which the First World War officially came to an end and is observed at war memorials and in public places throughout the UK and Commonwealth.

Lee on the Solent Royal British Legion mark the occassion with a ceremony in the High Street to commemorate the fallen of 2 world wars and other conflicts. The Two-minute Silence will take place at 11am at 107 High Street Lee on the Solent PO13 9BU
