First observed in 2006 and originally known as Veterans' Day (the name was changed to Armed Forces day in 2009), Armed Forces Day is an annual event celebrated in late June to commemorate the service of men and women of the British Armed Forces. The next Armed Forces Day will be held on 27 June 2026. The main celebrations will be hosted by Aldershot and Farnborough, with parades, flypasts and kit displays
