The Royal British Legion is recognised as the National custodian of Remembrance.
Remembrance Sunday, the second Sunday in November, is the day traditionally put aside to remember all those who have given their lives for the peace and freedom we enjoy today.
In Kippax, as well as the smaller villages that are included within our Branch area, the Act of Remembrance is hugely important. Year after year our Remembrance Services and Parades are attended by more and more members of the public, as well as our uniformed organisations, civic dignitaries and local groups, who come along to show their respect and gratitude to our local heroes.
