The Royal British Legion is recognised as the national custodian of Remembrance.
Remembrance Sunday, the second Sunday in November, is the day traditionally put aside to remember all those who have given their lives and those who came home but where never the same.
Kingsclere holds a Remembrance Parade and church service each year, with details available from the branch, via their Facebook Page (Kingsclere Royal British Legion) and through the village magazine “The Tower”.
The village is prepared through October for Remembrance Day where all are encouraged to play their part.
Kingsclere also remembers through the year, with services conducted to mark VE Day, VJ Day, the Battle of Britain and many others.
Kingsclere never forgets.
