Over 50 members and friends attended the Quiz Evening on October 5th. It was intended as a fun quiz rather than an intellectual quiz and so it turned out. There were obscure rounds on voice recognition, music, colours, childhood memories, sit comms and wipeouts.

The quiz was conducted by John Hill and was ably assisted in scoring by his sidekick, Nina, while the bar was well organised and stocked by Pete Digby. There were eight tables of 7 or 8 ranging from The Bowls club, The Welcome Club, Easton, Tilbrook and Spaldwick villages, Castle Gardens and the Presidents table...… and who had to win the overall prize?..the President and his  noisy table. Well done everybody who took part and who helped organise the whole evening. Over £400 was made towards British Legion Funds  . Thank you
