Poppy Appeal 2020

The Poppy Appeal 2020, due to the Covid-19 pandemic, has been very different to previous years.  Understandably the donations will be down on previous years; nevertheless, the commitment shown by the general public, local businesses and schools has been remarkable.  Please read the poem below, written by Catie Hudson of Spaldwick Community Primary School and enjoy the beautiful poppies the school coloured and displayed.  Many thanks to the staff, parents and pupils for their very generous donations.

I will confirm our final Poppy Appeal total as soon as all the poppy pots have been counted.
