WHAT REMEMBRANCE MEANS TO ME
The Branch put together a series of vignettes where Branch members, youth organisations and leaders of the Hythe Community shared their thoughts on what remembrance means to them as individuals. The series was the idea of the Branch Chairman – Ian Norman to publicise both remembrance and the Poppy Appeal. The series began with the Branch Chairman on 23 October and will culminate with the Right Worshipful Mayor of Hythe – Councillor Stephen Bailey on Armistice Day. To date the published vignettes have had over 6000 views. The vignettes are available on the RBL Hythe and Saltwood Facebook Pages should anyone wish to view.
In addition, the Branch has been projecting a Poppy image onto St Leonard’s Church throughout the Poppy Appeal.
