On Wednesday 5 November 2025, the Branch Secretary John Healey and Branch Standard Bearer, Alan Richardson represented the Branch at the South Eastern Railways Remembrance Service at Dover Cruise Terminal 1.  The event commemorated those railway workers who lost their lives during two World Wars. It was a suitable moving event made more poignant by the Cavell Carriage providing the backdrop.  This is the carriage that was used to convey he remains of Nurse Edith Cavell in 1919 and The Unknown Warrior in 1920.
